The Windsor Castle has been sold off to developers depite manager Tony’s great effort to put it back on the music map. So that’s one gig I won’t be doing next month. One gig I won’t be doing this month is the Inn on the Green as there is a lot going on there or thereabouts this weekend. However we’re due back there next month.

There is a new gig on Sunday week in the afternoon at the Wenlock in North London. This will be a trio gig and was booked by Holly Roberts who is a regular there. Holly was playing keyboards with the last band to play at the Windsor Castle so it’s good to have some continuity.

Talking of continuity, it was good to see Tony Bell back in charge ot the blues jam at the Inn on the Green last Wednesday. It had started to go downhill but with him back in charge we should see things pick up again.

More good news is that our guitarist Bernie Pallo is coming to the end of his cancer treatment soon and early indications are that the tumour has gone. It’s obviously early days but we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that the treatment is fully effective.
