- [Bad news about Chris](http://shakeyvick.com/2007/11/30/bad-news-about-chris/) - Unfortunately, Chris Youlden's condition has suffered a setback, with another strain of pneumonia filling his lungs with fluid. New antibiotics should improve things in three or four days, and hospital staff are trying to clear his lungs again, but he is once more heavily sedated.

- [Chris Youlden rushed to hospital](http://shakeyvick.com/2007/11/15/chris-youlden-rushed-to-hospital/) - On Thursday 8th November, Chris Youlden was taken seriously ill at his home with pneumonia and was rushed to hospital and treated in the isolation unit of the intensive care department. His condition was stabilised and he has been under heavy sedation, whilst various conditions were treated. He has made enough improvement to be removed

In 1963 he formed his first band, teaming up with Chris Youlden. They won a heat of an R&B contest and did a gig at the Marquee, which was recorded by Giorgio Gomulsky of Yardbirds
