The gig at the Inn on the Green has been cancelled this month as things are getting hectic with the carnival coming up and the repair work hadn’t been completed, when I callede in the other day, though it probably is by now. We’ll be back there for the September gig on the 19th. I’ll be able to get some spending money for Thailand. Should be enough…
We did the charity gig for Geoff Taylor’s brother George and then toddled off home to polish off a bottle of wine which is in danger of becoming a habit. Perish the thought. I’m in a bit of a hurry today so that’s it for now, but I can reassure all our avid readers that I’m not practising to change to twitter. I like to expand more than that media allows. Talking of expansion, I believe my waist band is expanding. Now do I eat less , drink less or exercise more. No prizes for guessing the least likely of those options.
